Traveling to Poipet, Cambodia: May 11, 2012 – May 22, 2012
Global Presence Ministries has partnered with XP Missions for their Operation Justice Cambodia. I have been invited to go on this mission, and I have chosen to accept the invitation. This webpage will be my journal of the journey as well as a place where you can support me. You can support me in both prayers and finances.

Patricia King and XP Media is one of our partner ministries.  We will be partnering with her teams and working at their Cambodia Outreach Center, a part of  XP Missions Justice Center.

VISION FOR CAMBODIA OUTREACH CENTER

  • To focus on implementing strategies the Lord gives us to terminate the exploitation of children (especially through sex trafficking).
  • Hosting outreach teams during the dry season who will serve with us to fulfill assignments and to strengthen/support ministries in Poipet, with evangelism and mercy outreaches, children-at-risk projects, Bible training, church plants, and establishing small business.
  • To raise up intercessors who will pray for revival and for the termination of the exploitation of children through sex trafficking in Poipet.
  • To raise funds to establish Safe Houses in every village and slum, for Safe Haven Children’s Home, and for the education of the children in Poipet.
  • To help the poor and children at risk.

Here is a video that will give you an understanding about the injustice that is happening with regards to child sex slavery that is currently taking place in Cambodia.  My hope is that you are moved with compassion for these children and will help support our mission to rescue them.

JUSTICE IN CAMBODIA

It is estimated that between 12.3 to 27 million people globally are enslaved in forced labor, prostitution, and human trafficking situations – half of these are children. These children are stuck in exploitive and abusive situations, and they are crying out for someone to rescue them. In a recent visit to Poipet, Patricia and the XP team were able to intervene to stop a child that was being trafficked across the border. This little boy, is now safe, healthy, and laughing.

Here is a success story from Don Brewster, who is the Director of Agape Restoration Center in Cambodia.  This is an example of how we can impact the lives of children through our prayers  and support!
